Service Manager
Dave Engstrom
Corporate Service Manager, Dave Engstrom, has been with Authorized Factory Service for the past 7 years. Prior to his time with us, he worked 30 years for General Motors in their Electronics Division. Part of his role at AFS is to ensure Factory Certified Installers and Servicers in Michigan and Northern Ohio, have the proper training to ensure superior customer service. His work has awarded AFS with a Premier Partner ranking with the Sub-Zero and Wolf Factory – of which only 30 out of 1,200 service providers have received! When Dave is not busy upping the rankings of AFS, he enjoys time spent with his family, which include his wife, 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He can also be found in the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. If he can’t get out to the wilds, he settles for the highways of the Motor City with the Michigan S550 Mustang Club.
Factory Certified Techs
Micah
Micah has been with AFS for over 12 years and doing appliance repair for 22! His experience in appliance repair makes him an expert and well-trusted by his co-workers and clients. He will jump through hoops to make sure the client is happy. When Micah isn’t jumping through hoops, he enjoys spending time teaching his American Bull dog, Mac, new tricks or spending time on the lake or in the woods.
Aaron
One of our veteran technicians, Aaron has been with AFS for 11 years. His longevity at AFS demonstrates his strong work ethic. Aaron enjoys disk golf and four-wheeling in his free time.
Scott
Scott has over 20 years of appliance repair experience and has been an AFS Technician since 2010. Another expert in the field, Scott has received accolades from happy clients. In his off hours, Scott enjoys hunting, bowling and camping.
Jon
Jon has been with AFS since 2011. With a kind hello everywhere he goes, Jon provides clients with expert repair and customer service. When Jon is not working, he enjoys playing basketball.
Martin
Martin has been with AFS since 2012. His product expertise and kind demeanor have put Concierge Level of Service as his daily practice. In his off hours, Martin enjoys woodworking and golf.
Factory Certified Installers
Rick
Rick has been with AFS as an installer for the past three years, but has over 20 years of appliance install experience. Rick has experience to do most anything and is called on to help manage many projects in the office – a Jack of All Trades to say the least! When Rick is not installing, he is creating! Rick creates all kinds of beautiful projects with reclaimed wood.
Tim
Tim is one of our Factory Certified Installers on staff and has been with AFS for 3 years, but has over 12 years appliance experience. Tim provides true concierge-level of customer service to every client he serves.
Parts
Alex Dubetz
Alex has been with AFS in our parts department since 2013. He always has a smile on his face and jumps up to assist where needed. When Alex isn’t working, he stays active by playing soccer and bike riding.
Jorge Miller
Jorge also works in our parts department and has been with AFS for almost 4 years. Beyond his top-notch organization skills and customer service, Jorge also enjoys portrait painting with black and white oil paint.
AFS Office Team
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is new to AFS as our Office Manager, but she is not new to the appliance service industry. She has managed multiple appliance service companies over the past 10 years. A newlywed with a bonus daughter, Liz also has a 19 year-old Beagle and 5 month old Lab. When she is not working, Liz enjoys boating, fishing, bonfires and cooking. Welcome Liz!
Amanda
Since 2014, Amanda has been with AFS as one of our Customer Service Representatives. Amanda is everyone’s best friend in the office, she has even taught her cat Tigger and dog Mitzie on how to be best friends at home. Her bucket list includes a visit to every state.
